The Ashland Hornets routed the visiting Central Aroostook Panthers softball squad by a count of 33-3 in Thursday's league battle.
The Hornets (4-7) will now prepare for their battle against Fort Kent (Fort Kent, ME). The Warriors go into the non-league battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, Fort Kent was routed by Southern Aroostook (Dyer Brook, ME), 8-6, in a non-league battle.
The Panthers now sport a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Hodgdon for a Class D North battle on Friday, May 27. Central Aroostook will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 4-3 league win over Southern Aroostook (Dyer Brook, ME). The Hawks record now stands at 5-2.
