The Concord-Carlisle Patriots (Concord, MA) softball routed the host Cambridge Rindge & Latin Falcons (Cambridge, MA), 18-12 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Patriots (9-10) will now prepare for their bout against Westford Academy (Westford, MA). The Grey Ghosts go into the Dual County Large bout with a 13-2 record. In their last bout, Westford Academy held off Lincoln-Sudbury (Sudbury, MA), 5-0, in a league bout.
The Falcons now possess a 13-8 record. They play next when they travel to Natick for a non-league bout on Saturday, June 4. Cambridge Rindge & Latin will confront a Redhawks squad coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Braintree (Braintree, MA). The Redhawks record now stands at 3-5.
