The Cape Elizabeth Capers softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Wells Warriors to 1 in the Capers league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Cape Elizabeth moves its record to 8-5 on the year. The Capers host Lake Region (Naples, ME) to clash with the Lakers in a Class B South game on Friday, May 27. The Lakers come into the game with a record of 10-5. Lake Region lost 2-1 in their recent league game against Poland (Poland, ME)

In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Freeport Falcons (Freeport, ME) in a Class B South game, on Saturday, May 28. Wells will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record. The Falcons come into the game with a 7-4 record after their 9-5 league win over Gray-New Gloucester (Gray, ME).
