Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Lincoln Academy Eagles (Newcastle, ME) and the visiting Erskine Academy Eagles (South China, ME), witnessed Lincoln Academy's softball squad tip Erskine Academy by a count of 6-3.

The Eagles now sport a 6-4 record. They play next when they host Morse for a Class B South match on Tuesday, May 31. Lincoln Academy will meet a Shipbuilders squad coming off a 7-1 league loss to Gardiner (Gardiner, ME). The Shipbuilders record now stands at 4-11.

With the loss, Erskine Academy moves to 3-9 on the season. The Eagles host Leavitt (Turner, ME) to meet the Hornets in a Class B South match on Wednesday, June 1. The Hornets go into the match with a record of 7-4. Leavitt won 8-0 in their recent league match against Morse (Bath, ME)
