The Holy Spirit Spartans crushed the host St. Rose Purple Roses baseball team by a count of 8-1 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Spartans now possess a 10-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gloucester Catholic for a non-league bout on Tuesday, May 30. Holy Spirit will face a Rams team coming off a 12-0 non-league win over Holy Cross (Delran, NJ). The Rams record now stands at 21-7.
