The Malden Catholic Lancers baseball team (Malden, MA), was overwhelmed 5-1 in Friday's league outing with the host St. John's Prep Eagles (Danvers, MA)
The Eagles now hold a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Catholic for a non-league outing on Sunday, May 28. St. John's Prep will confront a Raiders team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Boston College High (Boston, MA). The Raiders record now stands at 18-3.
Next, the Lancers confront the Newton South Lions (Newton, MA) in a non-league outing, on Monday, May 29. Malden Catholic will attempt to advance on its 4-14 season record. The Lions go into the outing with a 11-8 record after their 9-5 non-league win over Needham (Needham, MA).
