The South Lyon Lions softball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Novi Wildcats to 2 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, South Lyon moves its record to 7-5 on the year. The Lions travel to Northville (Northville, MI) to play the Mustangs in a non-league game on Tuesday, May 30. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 2-6.

In their next game, the Wildcats play the Walled Lake Central Vikings (Walled Lake, MI) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, May 31. Novi will attempt to move on its 14-7 season record. The Vikings come into the game with a 5-21 record after their 17-2 league loss to South Lyon East (South Lyon, MI).
