The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Andrew Thunderbolts (Tinley Park, IL) and the visiting Oak Forest Bengals (Oak Forest, IL), saw Andrew's baseball team gain a win over Oak Forest by a tally of 6-2.
The Thunderbolts (24-11) will now prepare for their battle against Shepard (Palos Heights, IL). The Astros enter the non-league battle with a 13-16 record. In their last battle, Shepard held off Crete-Monee (Crete, IL), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Bengals face the Hancock Eagles (Chicago, IL) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, May 28. Oak Forest will attempt to upgrade on its 21-12 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 14-17 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to Shepard (Palos Heights, IL).
