The Londonderry Lancers baseball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Bishop Guertin Cardinals to 1 in the Lancers league win on Monday.
The Lancers now own a 19-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Nashua South for a Division I test on Tuesday, May 27. Londonderry will play a Purple Panthers team coming off a 7-5 league win over Merrimack (Merrimack, NH). The Purple Panthers record now stands at 6-11.
With the defeat, Bishop Guertin drops to 12-8 on the year. The Cardinals host Portsmouth (Portsmouth, NH) to play the Clippers in a Division I match on Tuesday, May 27. The Clippers come into the match with a record of 10-6. Portsmouth won 9-8 in their recent league match against Timberlane (Plaistow, NH)
