The Stevens Cardinals softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Newfound Regional Bears to 6 in the Cardinals league win on Monday.

The Cardinals now possess a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kearsarge for a Division III battle on Wednesday, May 28. Stevens will confront a Cougars team coming off a 9-6 non-league loss to Hillsboro-Deering (Hillsboro, NH). The Cougars record now stands at 1-12.

With the loss, Newfound Regional moves to 2-14 on the season. The Bears travel to Winnisquam (Tilton, NH) to confront the Bears in a Division III battle on Wednesday, May 28. The Bears come into the battle with a record of 5-9. Winnisquam lost 18-1 in their recent league battle against Monadnock (East Swanzey, NH)
