The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Lincoln Academy Eagles (Newcastle, ME) and the host Maine Central Institute Huskies (Pittsfield, ME), saw Lincoln Academy's lacrosse team nudge Maine Central Institute by a margin of 5-4.
The Eagles (3-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Winslow (Winslow, ME). The Black Raiders enter the Class C challenge with a 0-0 record.
The Huskies (1-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Erskine Academy (South China, ME). The Eagles enter the Class C challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Erskine Academy was tipped by Brewer (Brewer, ME), 16-5, in a non-league challenge.
