Washington High School Softball - Bonney Lake nudges Peninsula

Bonney Lake Panthers (Bonney Lake, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Peninsula Seahawks (Gig Harbor, WA), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Panthers now own a 21-3 record. They take the field next when they host Ballard for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 27. Bonney Lake will battle a Beavers squad coming off a 12-1 league win over Eastside Catholic (Sammamish, WA). The Beavers record now stands at 17-5.
With the loss, Peninsula falls to 23-3 on the campaign. The Seahawks travel to Monroe (Monroe, WA) to battle the Bearcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 27. The Bearcats enter the challenge with a record of 16-6. Monroe won 15-0 in their recent league challenge against Everett (Everett, WA)
