Massachusetts High School Softball - Brockton bounces Notre Dame Academy

The Brockton Boxers (Brockton, MA) softball routed the visiting Notre Dame Academy Cougars (Hingham, MA), 16-4 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Boxers (11-9) will now prepare for their bout against Newton South (Newton, MA). The Lions go into the non-league bout with a 9-11 record. In their last bout, Newton South was routed by Lincoln-Sudbury (Sudbury, MA), 4-3, in a league bout.
The Cougars now possess a 6-2 record. They play next when they host Ursuline Academy for a Catholic Conference bout on Friday, June 3. Notre Dame Academy will confront a Bears squad coming off a 15-3 non-league win over Sharon (Sharon, MA). The Bears record now stands at 11-5.
