Chugiak Mustangs (Chugiak, AK) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Service Cougars (Anchorage, AK), 10-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 26-8 record. They take the field next when they host Bettye Davis East Anchorage for a non-league game on Friday, May 27. Chugiak will clash with a Thunderbirds team coming off a 11-2 non-league loss to South Anchorage (Anchorage, AK). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 8-11.
