Lakeside Eagles (Nine Mile Falls, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Freeman Scotties (Rockford, WA), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 16-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Zillah for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 27. Lakeside will face a Leopards squad coming off a 9-8 non-league win over Kiona-Benton (Benton City, WA). The Leopards record now stands at 15-3.

With the loss, Freeman falls to 14-6 on the campaign.
