Hingham Harbormen (Hingham, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Norwell Clippers (Norwell, MA), 9-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Harbormen now own a 16-6 record.

With the loss, Norwell falls to 7-7 on the campaign. The Clippers travel to Rockland (Rockland, MA) to battle the Bulldogs in a South Shore - Pilgrim challenge on Saturday, May 28. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 4-9. Rockland won 10-2 in their recent non-league challenge against South Shore Vo-Tech (Hanover, MA)
