Edison Academy Pioneers (Detroit, MI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Garber Dukes (Essexville, MI), 17-6 in a non-league test.

With the win, Edison Academy upgrades its record to 18-5 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Northville (Northville, MI) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 31. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 28-4. Northville lost 7-0 in their recent non-league test against University Liggett (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI)

With the defeat, Garber falls to 7-6 on the season.
