Aberdeen Bobcats (Aberdeen, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Port Angeles Roughriders (Port Angeles, WA), 17-7 in a non-league challenge.
The Bobcats now own a 17-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Othello for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 27. Aberdeen will battle a Huskies squad coming off a 11-10 non-league win over Sedro-Woolley (Sedro-Woolley, WA). The Huskies record now stands at 21-6.
With the loss, Port Angeles falls to 16-6 on the campaign.
