The Dexter Tigers softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Penobscot Valley Howlers to 1 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Dexter moves its record to 9-6 on the year. The Tigers host Central (East Corinth, ME) to play the Red Devils in a Class C North game on Wednesday, May 29. The Red Devils come into the game with a record of 8-4. Central won 8-0 in their recent league game against Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft, ME)

In their next game, the Howlers play the Woodland Dragons (Baileyville, ME) in a Class D North game, on Wednesday, May 29. Penobscot Valley will attempt to move on its 10-2 season record. The Dragons come into the game with a 11-3 record after their 16-0 league win over Shead (Eastport, ME).
