In Tuesday's league game, the host Bucksport Golden Bucks baseball team scored a close 2-0 victory over the Dexter Tigers.
The Golden Bucks (8-6) will now prepare for their game against Washington Academy (East Machias, ME). The Raiders enter the Class C North game with a 12-1 record. In their last game, Washington Academy held off Orono (Orono, ME), 13-3, in a league game.
Next, the Tigers face the Penquis Valley Patriots (Milo, ME) in a Class C North game, on Thursday, May 29. Dexter will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Patriots enter the game with a 0-11 record after their 20-6 non-league loss to Greenville (Greenville, ME).
