The Viroqua Blackhawks baseball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting De Soto Pirates to 6 in the Blackhawks non-league win on Tuesday.
The Blackhawks now hold a 13-9 record. They take the field next when they host Luther for a Coulee test on Thursday, May 29. Viroqua will play a Knights team coming off a 5-4 league loss to Arcadia (Arcadia, WI). The Knights record now stands at 4-15.
With the defeat, De Soto drops to 14-10 on the year. The Pirates host Kickapoo (Viola, WI) to play the Panthers in a Ridge & Valley test on Thursday, May 29. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 1-17. Kickapoo lost 7-6 in their recent league test against Wauzeka-Steuben (Wauzeka, WI)
