The Central Red Devils softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Bangor Christian Patriots to 9 in the Red Devils non-league win on Tuesday.

The Red Devils now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Orono for a Class C North battle on Wednesday, May 28. Central will confront a Riots team coming off a 1-0 league win over Washington Academy (East Machias, ME). The Riots record now stands at 6-5.

With the loss, Bangor Christian moves to 6-7 on the season. The Patriots travel to Penobscot Valley (Howland, ME) to confront the Howlers in a Class D North battle on Thursday, May 29. The Howlers come into the battle with a record of 10-0. Penobscot Valley won 17-2 in their recent league battle against Schenck (East Millinocket, ME)
