The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Mendon Hornets (Mendon, MI) and the host Burr Oak Bobcats (Burr Oak, MI), observed Mendon's softball team get by Burr Oak by a tally of 1-0.

The Hornets (23-2) will now prepare for their bout against Marcellus (Marcellus, MI). The Wildcats go into the non-league bout with a 10-15 record. In their last bout, Marcellus was nipped by Decatur (Decatur, MI), 12-2, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Bobcats battle the Waldron Spartans (Waldron, MI) in a Southern Central bout, on Tuesday, May 27. Burr Oak will attempt to advance on its 13-4 season record.
