Michigan High School Softball - Gwinn bested by Hancock

The Hancock Bulldogs triumphed over the visiting Gwinn Modeltowners softball squad by a count of 16-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs play the Calumet Copper Kings (Calumet, MI) in a Western Peninsula challenge, on Wednesday, May 28. Hancock will attempt to upgrade on its 12-10 season record. The Copper Kings enter the challenge with a 10-7 record after their 9-5 non-league loss to Lake Linden-Hubbell (Lake Linden, MI).

The Modeltowners (1-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Rapid River (Rapid River, MI). The Rockets enter the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Rapid River was routed by Norway (Norway, MI), 15-2, in a non-league challenge.
