Hartford Hurricanes (White River Junction, VT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Windsor Yellowjackets (Windsor, VT), 16-4 in a league challenge.

The Hurricanes now own a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fair Haven for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, June 1. Hartford will battle a Slaters squad coming off a 21-6 league loss to Otter Valley (Brandon, VT). The Slaters record now stands at 6-8.

With the loss, Windsor falls to 3-12 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Thetford Academy (Thetford, VT) to battle the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 31. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 5-7. Thetford Academy lost 16-8 in their recent league challenge against U-32 (Montpelier, VT)
