Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Lyndon Institute Vikings (Lyndon Center, VT) and the visiting Spaulding Crimson Tide (Barre, VT), witnessed Lyndon Institute's softball squad prevail over Spaulding by a count of 17-5.
The Vikings now sport a 16-0 record.
With the loss, Spaulding moves to 9-6 on the season. The Crimson tide travel to Lamoille (Hyde Park, VT) to meet the Lancers in a non-league match on Wednesday, June 1. The Lancers go into the match with a record of 7-8. Lamoille won 16-3 in their recent non-league match against Peoples Academy (Morrisville, VT)
