Illinois High School Softball - Tolono Unity nudges St. Anthony

The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Tolono Unity Rockets (Tolono, IL) and the host St. Anthony Bulldogs (Effingham, IL), saw Tolono Unity's softball squad nip St. Anthony by a count of 3-2.
The Rockets now sport a 25-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Macomb for a non-league match on Monday, May 30. Tolono Unity will face a Bombers squad coming off a 6-2 non-league win over Tri-City (Buffalo, IL). The Bombers record now stands at 21-6.
With the loss, St. Anthony falls to 26-5 on the campaign.
