Lyons Lions (LaGrange, IL) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Oak Park-River Forest Huskies (Oak Park, IL), 2-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Lions battle the Glenbard West Hilltoppers (Glen Ellyn, IL) in a West Suburban match, on Friday, May 31. Lyons will attempt to advance on its 34-5 season record. The Hilltoppers come into the match with a 36-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Downers Grove North (Downers Grove, IL).

With the loss, Oak Park-River Forest drops to 25-10 on the campaign.
