Rhode Island High School Softball - La Salle Academy bounces Cumberland

The La Salle Academy Rams routed the visiting Cumberland Clippers softball squad by a count of 10-0 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Rams (22-0) will now prepare for their battle against Cranston West (Cranston, RI). The Falcons go into the non-league battle with a 14-7 record. In their last battle, Cranston West topped Prout (Wakefield, RI), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

The Clippers now sport a 12-11 record. They play next when they travel to Prout for a non-league battle on Friday, May 31. Cumberland will meet a Crusaders squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Cranston West (Cranston, RI). The Crusaders record now stands at 13-7.
