Glenwood Rams (Glenwood, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Denison-Schleswig Monarchs (Denison, IA), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Rams now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shenandoah for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 29. Glenwood will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over St. Albert (Council Bluffs, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Denison-Schleswig falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Monarchs travel to Harlan (Harlan, IA) to face the Cyclones in a Hawkeye 10 challenge on Thursday, May 30. The Cyclones enter the challenge with a record of 0-7. Harlan lost 10-1 in their recent league challenge against Lewis Central (Council Bluffs, IA)
