The Earlham Cardinals routed the host Pleasantville Trojans softball squad by a final score of 6-0 in Tuesday's league battle.
The Cardinals (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA). The Warhawks go into the non-league battle with a 5-0 record. In their last battle, Southeast Warren held off East Union (Afton, IA), 17-0, in a non-league battle.
The Trojans now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Van Meter for a non-league battle on Wednesday, May 29. Pleasantville will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 9-4 league win over Interstate 35 (Truro, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-1.
