The Hodgdon Hawks baseball team scored 14 runs and held the host Ashland Hornets to 0 in the Hawks league win on Wednesday.

The Hawks now own a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host Fort Fairfield for a Class D North test on Friday, May 30. Hodgdon will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 4-3 league win over Wisdom (St. Agatha, ME). The Tigers record now stands at 9-1.

With the defeat, Ashland drops to 1-7 on the year. The Hornets travel to Madawaska (Madawaska, ME) to clash with the Owls in a Class D North test on Saturday, May 31. The Owls go into the test with a record of 4-5. Madawaska lost 15-9 in their recent non-league test against Fort Kent (Fort Kent, ME)
