In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Roosevelt Roughriders baseball team scored a close 6-3 win over the Waterloo East Trojans.
The Roughriders (2-6) will now prepare for their game against Lincoln (Des Moines, IA). The Railsplitters go into the Alliance Conference - South game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Lincoln by Bondurant-Farrar (Bondurant, IA), 5-0, in a non-league game.
