The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Presque Isle Wildcats (Presque Isle, ME) and the host Caribou Vikings (Caribou, ME), observed Presque Isle's softball team prevail over Caribou by a tally of 17-1.

The Wildcats (6-6) will now prepare for their bout against Fort Kent (Fort Kent, ME). The Warriors go into the non-league bout with a 6-6 record. In their last bout, Fort Kent knocked off Madawaska (Madawaska, ME), 19-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Old Town Coyotes (Old Town, ME) in a Class B North bout, on Saturday, May 31. Caribou will attempt to advance on its 2-11 season record. The Coyotes go into the bout with a 10-3 record after their 13-2 league win over Mount Desert Island (Mount Desert, ME).
