The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Collins-Maxwell (Maxwell, IA) and the visiting Colo-NESCO Royals (Colo, IA), observed Collins-Maxwell's softball team prevail over Colo-NESCO by a tally of 19-3.

The (2-0) will now prepare for their bout against North Tama (Traer, IA). The Redhawks go into the Iowa Star - South bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, North Tama knocked off Baxter (Baxter, IA), 12-2, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Royals clash with the Boyer Valley Bulldogs (Dunlap, IA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, May 29. Colo-NESCO will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record.
