In Wednesday's non-league test, the Wayne Falcons (Corydon, IA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Moravia Mohawks (Moravia, IA), by a tally of 12-0.
Next, the Falcons clash with the Lenox Tigers (Lenox, IA) in a Pride of Iowa test, on Thursday, May 29. Wayne will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 2-0 record after their 9-1 non-league win over Stanton (Stanton, IA).
The Mohawks (0-3) will now prepare for their test against North Mahaska (New Sharon, IA). The Warhawks go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, North Mahaska prevailed over Keota (Keota, IA), 4-2, in a league test.
