Iowa High School Softball - Southeast Polk bounces Urbandale

In Wednesday's league match, the host Southeast Polk Rams softball team scored a tight 8-3 win over the Urbandale J-Hawks.
The Rams (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Norwalk (Norwalk, IA). The Warriors come into the non-league match with a 3-0 record. In their last match, Norwalk nipped Newton (Newton, IA), 10-0, in a league match.
In their next game, the J-Hawks battle the Valley Tigers (West Des Moines, IA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, May 29. Urbandale will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Tigers come into the match with a 1-0 record after their 7-5 non-league win over Winterset (Winterset, IA).
