Virginia High School Softball - Auburn bounces George Wythe

Auburn Eagles (Riner, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host George Wythe Maroons (Wytheville, VA), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 22-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grayson County for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 31. Auburn will battle a Blue Devils squad coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 13-13.
With the loss, George Wythe falls to 12-12 on the campaign.
