Coming up next, the Lions battle the Humboldt Wildcats (Humboldt, IA) in a North Central outing, on Friday, May 31. Clear Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Wildcats enter the outing with a 2-2 record after their 13-9 league loss to Algona (Algona, IA).

The Cadets (1-3) will now prepare for their outing against St. Edmond (Fort Dodge, IA). The Gaels enter the non-league outing with a 3-0 record. In their last outing, St. Edmond tipped South Hardin (Eldora, IA), 8-1, in a non-league outing.
