The Ridge View Raptors routed the host Westwood Rebels softball squad by a final score of 17-8 in Wednesday's league battle.
The Raptors (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Kingsley-Pierson (Kingsley, IA). The Panthers go into the Western Valley battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Kingsley-Pierson topped Westwood (Sloan, IA), 13-2, in a league battle.
The Rebels now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to West Monona for a Western Valley battle on Friday, May 31. Westwood will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 13-1 league win over Odebolt Arthur Battle Creek Ida Grove (Ida Grove, IA). The Spartans record now stands at 6-2.
