The West Lyon Wildcats (Inwood, IA) softball routed the visiting Sibley-Ocheyedan Generals (Sibley, IA), 11-3 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Wildcats (5-2) will now prepare for their bout against Okoboji (Milford, IA). The Pioneers go into the non-league bout with a 0-4 record. In their last bout, Okoboji was routed by Central Lyon (Rock Rapids, IA), 7-5, in a league bout.
The Generals now possess a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley for a non-league bout on Friday, May 31. Sibley-Ocheyedan will confront a NIGHTHAWKS squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Sioux Center (Sioux Center, IA). The NIGHTHAWKS record now stands at 1-6.
