The Southeast Valley Jaguars baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host South Central Calhoun Titans to 3 in the Jaguars league win on Thursday.

The Jaguars now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Central Valley for a non-league test on Friday, May 30. Southeast Valley will play a Wildcats team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Glidden-Ralston (Glidden, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-2.

With the defeat, South Central Calhoun drops to 2-3 on the year. The Titans host Pocahontas (Pocahontas, IA) to play the Indians in a Twin Lakes test on Friday, May 30. The Indians go into the test with a record of 0-1. Pocahontas lost 4-1 in their recent non-league test against Storm Lake (Storm Lake, IA)
