In Thursday's league test, the Pleasant Valley Spartans (Pleasant Valley, IA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Central DeWitt (DeWitt, IA), by a tally of 22-5.
Next, the Spartans clash with the North Scott Lancers (Eldridge, IA) in a Mississippi Athletic test, on Monday, June 2. Pleasant Valley will attempt to advance on its 3-0 season record. The Lancers go into the test with a 2-1 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Anamosa (Anamosa, IA).
The (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Northeast (Goose Lake, IA). The Rebels go into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
