Maine High School Softball - Fort Kent bounces Madawaska

The Fort Kent Warriors softball team scored 19 runs and held the host Madawaska Owls to 1 in the Warriors non-league win on Thursday.
The Warriors now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wisdom for a non-league battle on Friday, May 30. Fort Kent will confront a Pioneers team coming off a 15-5 league win over Ashland (Ashland, ME). The Pioneers record now stands at 8-4.
With the loss, Madawaska moves to 1-8 on the season. The Owls host Ashland (Ashland, ME) to confront the Hornets in a Class D North battle on Saturday, May 31. The Hornets come into the battle with a record of 6-4. Ashland lost 15-5 in their recent league battle against Wisdom (St. Agatha, ME)
