The Grinnell Tigers edged the visiting Marion Wolves softball squad by a count of 5-4 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Tigers meet the Oskaloosa Indians (Oskaloosa, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, May 31. Grinnell will attempt to upgrade on its 3-0 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 5-4 non-league win over Centerville (Centerville, IA).
The Wolves (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Linn-Mar (Marion, IA). The Lions enter the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Linn-Mar edged Washington (Cedar Rapids, IA), 23-0, in a league challenge.
