The North Branford Thunderbirds baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Westbrook Knights to 0 in the Thunderbirds league victory on Monday.
The Thunderbirds (8-3) will now prepare for their match against Valley Regional (Deep River, CT). The Warriors go into the Shoreline - Large match with a 7-3 record. In their last match, Valley Regional was overwhelmed by Coginchaug Regional (Durham, CT), 9-1, in a league match.
The Knights (0-11) will now prepare for their match against Old Saybrook (Old Saybrook, CT). The Rams go into the Shoreline - Small match with a 3-7 record. In their last match, Old Saybrook was overwhelmed by Haddam-Killingworth (Higganum, CT), 2-0, in a non-league match.
