Illinois High School Softball - Kankakee bounces Rich Township

The Kankakee Kays routed the host Rich Township Raptors softball squad by a final score of 18-0 in Monday's league battle.
The Kays (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL). The Boilermakers go into the non-league battle with a 7-2 record. In their last battle, Bradley-Bourbonnais notched a victory over Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor, IL), 6-2, in a league battle.
The Raptors now possess a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Crete-Monee for a Southland Athletic battle on Wednesday, May 5. Rich Township will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 17-0 league win over Thornton (Harvey, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 3-1.
