In Tuesday's non-league game, the host South Effingham Mustangs baseball team scored a tight 5-3 victory over the Allatoona Buccaneers.
The Mustangs (23-11) will now prepare for their game against Allatoona (Acworth, GA). The Buccaneers go into the non-league game with a 29-3 record. In their last game, Allatoona tipped Lanier (Sugar Hill, GA), 7-0, in a non-league game.
