The Central Valley Warriors baseball team (Monaca, PA), was overwhelmed 9-0 in Tuesday's league outing with the host Blackhawk Cougars (Beaver Falls, PA)
The Cougars now hold a 8-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to New Castle for a WPIAL 4A 2 outing on Monday, May 9. Blackhawk will face a Hurricanes team coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Shenango (New Castle, PA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 2-9.
Next, the Warriors face the Beaver Bobcats (Beaver, PA) in a WPIAL 4A 2 outing, on Monday, May 9. Central Valley will attempt to advance on its 5-11 season record. The Bobcats enter the outing with a 9-5 record after their 6-4 league win over Quaker Valley (Leetsdale, PA).
