Rhode Island High School Baseball - Hope loses to North Providence

The North Providence Cougars crushed the host Hope Blue Wave baseball team by a count of 10-2 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Cougars now possess a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mt. Pleasant for a Division 2 bout on Thursday, May 5. North Providence will face a Kilties team coming off a 6-2 league win over Mount St. Charles Academy (Woonsocket, RI). The Kilties record now stands at 4-5.

Next, the Blue Wave face the Ponaganset Chieftains (North Scituate, RI) in a Division 2 bout, on Thursday, May 5. Hope will attempt to move on its 0-9 season record. The Chieftains enter the bout with a 5-7 record after their 10-3 league loss to Burrillville (Harrisville, RI).
